In the spring of 2015, I launched my photography business, Knit Woven Made. The name, Knit Woven Made, is inspired by my favorite scripture, Psalm 139:1-16. God knits us together in the womb, weaves us into families and communities, and makes us beautiful for such a time as this. He knows us intimately, pursues us relentlessly, forges ways where there are none, and creates us uniquely to fulfill a purpose.
It’s my pleasure to capture memories of you and your loved ones. Photographs honoring you. Knit. Woven. Made. My end goal is to offer a set of beautiful photographs that will bring joy for a lifetime, and leave a legacy of love and hope for future generations. You can expect photo shoots with me to be casual, personal, affordable and tailored to your special needs. I will do everything in my power to make each photo shoot comfortable and enjoyable.

- Families $75/1-hour session

- Special Needs Individuals, Siblings & Families $75/1-hour session
Special Session Rates (effective April 1, 2016)
- Extended Family Session $150/2-hour session
- Senior Photos $175/2-hour session with 2-3 clothing changes, two locations, a proof CD with 125-250 of the best photos from the shoot, and a CD of 12-16 professionally edited photos of your choice. Please note, I do NOT offer printed portrait packages.

Weather
Photo shoots are weather permitting. If we schedule photos and weather looks cold or rainy the day of the shoot, we will determine a mutually agreed upon date to reschedule.
Location
All photo sessions are on location, at an agreed upon outdoor destination or in the comfort of your home if I know you personally. I’m willing to photograph anywhere within reasonable driving distance in the northwest suburbs of Minneapolis/St. Paul. When you make an inquiry, please include your location so I can determine the feasibility of a shoot. I am also willing to meet halfway, depending on your location!

What to Wear
My top recommendation for what to wear is to simply be yourself. Wear something you feel completely comfortable in, something that represents you and your personal style. Anything that’s hip and colorful, natural and neutral, or cozy and comfy will work! Be fun. Be classy. Be wacky. I want to capture the real you. So whoever you are, rock that style!
Photographs
During our photo shoot, I’ll take as many photographs as I’m able. After the shoot, I will edit out the bad, blurry, and just okay photographs. I’ll leave you with all the good, great and awesome photographs from the session! You will receive a CD with full rights to all photographs. After a 1-hour photo shoot, you can expect to receive a CD with anywhere from 125-400 photographs.
Payment
Payment should be made in person, immediately following our photo shoot. The rate includes basic compensation for my time at the photo shoot, 2-3 hours to edit your photographs, time to burn your CD, and shipping costs to mail the CD to your home. Please note, session rates are subject to change.

My Promise
I’ve been taking photographs relentlessly for 30 years. In fact, it’s the only thing I’ve done my whole life without fail. I’ve owned my dream camera for two years and am in my second year of professional photography, so I don’t promise perfection or high-end portraiture. What I can promise you is heart, hard work, and a bunch of photographs I hope and pray you’ll treasure for years to come.
